Our partner Globant, an Argentine digitally native company focused on reinventing businesses through innovative technological solutions, has been awarded the “Google Cloud Industry Solution Services Partner of the Year Award” in the Media and Entertainment category for the second consecutive year. The recognition was announced by Google Cloud at its annual conference, Google Cloud Next, in San Francisco.
This award highlights Globant’s achievements in helping clients leverage the Google Cloud ecosystem to drive innovation and achieve new levels of success. Within the media and entertainment sector, Globant works with multiple studios, media production companies (including broadcasters, transmission networks, and post-production houses), as well as sports leagues/teams and gaming studios (including Electronic Arts, FIFA, LA Clippers, and many more).
The company also received the “Partner of the Year Award” from Google Cloud in Latin America in the Services and Talent Development category thanks to Globant’s achievements in creating a global, world-class team of experts in Google Cloud products and services. In the region, Globant supports the growth and success of its employees by providing guidance, training, and resources needed to help them deliver high-quality Google Cloud solutions.
“The awards celebrate the transformative impact and value that partners have delivered to customers,” said Kevin Ichhpurani, Corporate Vice President, Global Ecosystem and Channels at Google Cloud. “We are proud to announce Globant as the winner of the ‘2024 Google Cloud Partner Award’ and recognize their achievements in enabling their customers’ success over the past year.”
“This Google Cloud award recognizes our achievements in helping joint customers succeed in the cloud era. Media and entertainment is one of the most transformative and competitive industries, and we have actively collaborated with Google Cloud to create AI-driven solutions that help our customers innovate cost-effectively. By driving adoption of Google Cloud products across all industries, we can further maximize the use and benefits of cutting-edge technologies for our customers,” said Diego Tartara, Chief Technology Officer at Globant.
In 2023, Globant launched its Google Cloud Studio, a business unit with a dedicated team of experts who have deep and broad knowledge in Google Cloud products. The creation of the Studio marked a significant strengthening of the companies’ over 15-year collaboration, reaffirming Globant’s commitment to making significant investments in building a world-class talent pool in Google Cloud products.
To help meet the growing demand for these services, the company also developed several dedicated packages and accelerators to help clients simplify their adoption, with critical focus areas including GenAI, Looker, Cortex, and infrastructure and database migrations. As a result of their efforts, last year Globant enabled more organizations to transform their businesses, modernize their platforms, secure their workloads, and make data-driven decisions by maximizing their use of Google Cloud services.
